There are many users who come to Decentraland, and one of its most outstanding projects is LaLigaLand. Decentraland is a platform in the metaverse with several districts with different themes. LaLigaLand is LaLiga’s project in the metaverse and is located in one of the Decentraland districts called Vegas City.
Below I will explain briefly what each of them consists of:
Decentraland: is a decentralised virtual platform that uses blockchain technology to create a virtual world where users can create, experience and monetise content and applications. Each plot of land in Decentraland is owned by a user and can be designed and programmed as desired. Users can also interact with other players in the virtual world and participate in activities such as games, shopping and events. The digital currency used in Decentraland is MANA.
LaLigaLand: is a project of LaLiga, the Spanish football league, which seeks to create a blockchain-based virtual world in which football fans can interact and participate in different experiences related to the sport.
Season Pass, LaLigaLand’s product for its community
LaLigaLand has a web3 product called the Season Pass. All users who purchase the Season Pass acquire a wealth of benefits and utilities that enhance their experience both inside and outside of Decentraland. It can be purchased through your wallet or by credit card.
The Season Pass Roadmap shows you all the benefits that holders have already had and all that is yet to come. Plus, if you buy the Season Pass now, you get next season’s Season Pass for free.
Minigames in LaLigaLand
In addition to the Season Pass, it has a mini-game that generates recursion in the Welcome Zone. That minigame is ‘Crazy Golf’ in which every month the top 5 in the ranking get rewards for being among the best. More mini-games for users will follow.
Differents events en LaLigaLand
There have been events with different themes such as Christmas, the 2022 World Cup or the Chinese New Year in which users have been able to win free weareables by completing different missions.
Also, Season Pass holders will have access to a VIP Lounge with exclusive content available next week, to which only Season Pass holders will have access.
Both projects are at an early stage of development, but they represent interesting examples of how blockchain technology and the digital currency world can be used to create a digital currency.
